Art, and in particular graffiti art started to capture my imagination again in 2013. I found a local shop in Perth, Western Australia (my home since 2007) that stocked acrylic spray paint and then slowly the flame began to rekindle. I also more recently discovered Instagram and started to follow several artists and in particular Josh Keyes whose fine art paintings often contain graffiti images and then more recently Pichiavo. These artists mix street art with more traditional styles with amazing results and it's this new hybrid style of art that really interests me. I still feel like I'm just getting started after 30+ years of tinkering but my frequency and desire to produce art is gaining momentum and I recently started to attend life drawing lessons to improve my basic drawing skills. I hope you enjoy these images as much as I did creating them. - Deelaps.
